SO, over the next several months, we’ll be transitioning.

Just in case you missed the memo, we had a name change.  TK Read PC is no more, and the new name of the firm is “The Read Law Firm, P.C.”  Sometime early next year, we’ll be adding an attorney or two to the practice, and the old name just doesn’t fit with the expanded employee roster.

Please note, it’s a new name, but the same great firm with the same dedication to keeping our client roster small, and our service stellar.   Check back here for updates as we transition.

At some point (no worries, a new memo will issue forthwith), www.tkread.com will no longer be the firm web address.  Instead, we will use www.thereadlawfirm.com.  All other points of contact will remain the same:  The Read Law Firm, P.C., 915 Commercial Street, Conyers, Georgia 30012; 770-929-8644; fax – 770-929-8710.

Hi Folks! In my spare-time, I write young adults, middle grade books and self-help books.  Come listen to me, and three great ladies, speak at the Stonecrest Library this Saturday afternoon.

I’ll be going over the three marketing budgets included in our book, 100 Small Fires To Make Your Book Sales BLAZE!, and will discuss marketing tips and tricks for small, medium and large budgets.

Don’t worry, attending the workshop is definitely in your budget, not matter what its size as… it’s FREE!

Find more information on the workshop here, workshop details

Looking forward to seeing you there!

BTW, if you haven’t heard, the Second Edition of 100 Small Fires is out in paperback, and is a perfect Christmas gift for all the writers on your list. At $7.99 it won’t set your budget back either.

Find it here:100 Small Fires at Amazon

It’s amazing what changes a year can bring! Last year, T.K. Read PC sponsored a Children’s Book Authors’ Table at the Conyers, Georgia, Olde Town Fall Festival.  We had five authors in attendance and the booth was well received by the festival goers. We gave away and sold a lot of books!

This year, same event, but with six authors, and the crowd was at least doubled! The books sales and give-aways about doubled too.  The weather both years was fantastic, and the festival itself had a great variety of activities for kids, entertainment for everyone, and merchants selling handcrafted goods.

The balconies on our office here at 915 Commercial Street, and elsewhere in Olde Town, sure changed the over-all look! We did our best to contribute to the festive environment. One of our author’s, Connie Fleming, came dressed in civil war period attire to keep in theme with one of her books. We also had a popcorn machine, and we gave away about a hundred dollars of free popcorn!

It was also really great to see some of the firm’s clients enjoying the festival! If you missed out this year, make sure you attend in 2016. And, please stop by our booth, meet our authors, have some popcorn, and buy some books!

I came home from a week at the beach to find the best birthday present ever – my office has been transported to New Orleans!

Well, not transported physically, but transformed, yes.

As part of the set dressing for the CW series, The Originals, my office which used to look like this:

Front of building by Susan!

has been bedecked, and now looks like this:

Law Offices of TK Read PC 915 Commercial St. Conyers, GA 30012

Law Offices of TK Read PC
915 Commercial St.
Conyers, GA 30012

So if you’re driving through Olde Town, Conyers, GA trying to find the Law Offices of TK Read PC, don’t keep going on down the road when you get here. It’s the same building, same quality representation, but now with a little Cajun flair.
