On November 4th, 2023, TK participated in an Author’s Panel for a conference on Middle Grade Books held by Southern Breeze, SCBWI in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

UP COMING EVENTS, SIGNINGS, AND APPEARANCES:

‘ll be signing and selling books, or plain gabbing, at the following upcoming Events:

The second annual Conyers Book Festival, April 20th, 2024.

You’ll find me at the festival’s Welcome Tent, as I also serve as the co-chair of the event along with the Tamara Brown Gatson, the owner of our fabulous indie bookstore, The Book Cellar. https://www.thebookcellar.shop/ The store is really fabulous, so if you happen to pass by Conyers, be sure and check it out. The festival will be held in the store’s parking lot and the adjoining Elm Street Parking lot.

A mere week later, I’ll be attending Southern Breeze’s WIK (Writing and Ilustrating for Kids) Conference held in the fabulous Homewood Alabama Public Library. The conference is from Friday, April 26th to Sunday, April 28th, and non-members can attend, but it is filling up quickly. Here’s the link: https://www.scbwi.org/events/writing-and-illustrating-for-kids-wik-2024

On Saturday, May 18th, 2024, I’ll be giving a talk on Self-publishing. Here’s the deets:

Friday, December 1st, 2023 at The Conyers Christmas Party, here in my home town of Conyers, Georgia.

Saturday, April 20th, 2024, at The Conyers Book Festival. MOnday, April 22nd, 2024 is Earth Day, and Friday, April 26th, 2024, so in celebration I’ll be reducing the price on both ebooks, and running several give-ways. Check back here for more closer to these events. Also, check out www.ConyersBookFestival.com for a full line of the festival’s events

April 22, 2023, TK will be at The Conyers Book Festival, at 951 Railroad Street, Conyers, GA 30012 between 10:00 am and 5:pm.

TK is co-chairing the Conyers Book Festival, and will have a booth there. The book festival date, April 22nd, 2023, will also coincide with the launch of the second book in The Guardian Series, Ranger Nader & The Unsolvable Riddle.

The Conyers Book Festival 2023 is being presented by the Olde Town Merchants, LTD, an association of merchants with stores in and around historic Olde Town Conyers, Georgia. Conyers has been the filming location for many different movies and series over the years, including Doom Patrol, Ozark, The Originals, The Vampire Diaries, The Resident, Teen Wolf, Prisoners, The Gifted, Legacies, Sweet Home Alabama, The Dukes of Hazard, and most recently Red One with Chris Evans and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who used The Read Law Firm’s law office as their green room. Our little city has a lot of festivals and they always have big crowds. Based on this history, I anticipate a very good turnout for the Conyers Book Festival.

The festival will be held April 22, 2023, on the grounds of The Book Cellar at 951 Rail Road Street and the Elm Street Parking lot in Olde Town Conyers between the hours of 10:am and 5:pm. The premises will hold approximately 50-70 tent spaces for book vendors, authors, literary businesses, and merchants, along with food trucks. There will be contests for students, prize drawings, and themed activities for all ages, and local businesses will be encouraged to participate by hosting their own literary events the week of the festival.
